LA RESEARCH AROUND CHAMBER MUSIC: P
Abstract
This study addresses the reality of the final degree projects of Higher Music Education, emphasizing the importance of chamber music in the choice of subject for them. This is done through a questionnaire on the thematic lines of these works carried out to the students of the three higher centers of the Valencian Community during the 2020/2021 academic year, in order to draw conclusions and value the research on the music of camera in the rest of Spain. Through a study on the main contributions of chamber music to the student performer, and its adaptation as a subject within the curriculum of higher education in music, the weight of gender in academic training is demonstrated. On the other hand, the questionnaire sent to the Final Degree Project students shows a very low rate of research on chamber music. For this reason, this article proposes three paradigms to approach chamber music: performative, musicological and pedagogical.
